PPL Ground School

There are 7 theory exams to be completed prior to your PPL skills test. Traditionally students prepare for these exams using self-study books and practice questions. To supplement the study process Solent School of Flying offers ground school tuition to students on a one to one or small group basis.

Exam Preparation

Ground school really helps to fill the knowledge gaps that often occur when trying to interpret words in a text book. Being able to ask an instructor questions during a ground school session really helps to consolidate your knowledge and understanding.

Ground school is delivered by PowerPoint or white board and is designed to provide you with the theoretical knowledge needed to not only pass the seven exams but also to help retain the understanding of concepts that will help you to be a safe pilot throughout your flying career.
